Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) specialize in working with people with disabilities and over the age of 65. They go through an extensive training program before they work with patients. They are additionally required to attend ongoing training to keep up-to- date on procedures, skills, and best practices as caregivers.
They also help patients get around in the community: doctor’s appointments, community events and games. Our Personal Care Assistants provide support with a variety of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including:
- Grooming
- Bathing
- Meal Preparation & Feeding
- Toileting
- Mobility
- Positioning Transfers
- Medication Reminders
- Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
